Planning made simple

Planning a wedding — or even just booking a session — often comes with plenty of questions, and that’s totally normal. I’ve answered the most common ones below so you can feel prepared and relaxed. Can’t see yours? Get in touch — I’m always happy to help.

Booking & payments
How does the booking process work?

To secure your wedding date, I take a £200 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. This amount is deducted from your final balance, which is due 4 weeks before your wedding.

For couple or family shoots, the booking deposit is 50% upfront, with the remaining balance due the day before your session. I’m very flexible, so whether you’d prefer to pay in one go or in instalments, I’ll make it work for you.

Photography details
How many photos do we get?

This depends on the type of session you book:

  • Family shoot (1 hour): 20 edited digital images
  • Couples shoot (2 hours): 30 edited digital images
  • Weddings: I don’t limit how many wedding images I deliver! Every wedding is unique, and I want you to have every beautiful memory I capture. Once your gallery is edited, your photos are delivered via USB (and online too, depending on your package).
Editing, delivery & products
How long will it take to receive our photos?

Delivery times can vary depending on the time of year, but I always do my best to get your photos back to you as quickly as possible. Generally, it can take up to 3 months, especially during peak wedding season.

How will we receive our photos?
  • Blush Moments package: digital gallery
  • Rose Romance package: USB
  • Pink Champagne Stories: USB + printed album

Want to add a USB to your digital-only package? No problem — it’s available for £70.

Will our photos be in black and white?

I absolutely love black and white photography! That said, not every image suits that style. If I do edit an image in black and white, you’ll also receive the colour version — so you get the best of both worlds.

Travel, insurance & backup
What do you charge for travel?

I don’t charge for travel time — only direct travel expenses like fuel or accommodation (only if you’re really far away!). Travel costs can vary depending on the location and time of year, so feel free to get in touch for a custom quote.

Are you insured?

Yes, absolutely! I’m fully insured, both for my gear and public liability.

Real-life what-ifs
What if it rains on the day?

You’ve got two options:

  • Stay indoors and find a lovely indoor spot for your portraits.
  • Embrace the rain, head outside, have a laugh, and capture some fun, candid moments!

Either way, we’ll make it work and create something amazing. Rain doesn’t have to ruin anything — it can even add to the fun.

More wedding questions
Do you also do videography?

No, I focus solely on photography. However, I work with some brilliant videographers and would be happy to recommend a few if you’re looking for someone!

Will our photos be shared online?

I love sharing my work — especially when it’s full of love and laughter! Your photos are how I showcase my style and grow my little business. That said, I’ll always check with you first before sharing anything online or on social media.

We’re having a winter wedding — should we worry about light?

Winter weddings are beautiful, but they do come with shorter daylight hours. If you’d like outdoor couple portraits or group shots, it’s best to schedule them before 3pm to make the most of the natural light. I’m happy to help you plan the best timeline for your photography.

How long have you been doing this?

I launched my little pink world in 2018, and even though 2020 was a bit of a blip (thanks, COVID!), I’ve been photographing weddings and sessions full time ever since. I’m always learning, growing, and investing in myself so I can give you the best experience possible.

Still wondering?
