The First Wedding of the Decade

I remember first meeting Charlotte and Stephen like it was yesterday. A very good friend of mine passed (if you have seen me at wedding show, you will have met her) passed my details onto Charlotte's dad and then not long after that, we met up at Brampton Grange Golf Club. I remember feeling so nervous at I had not long set up and if I remember rightly, they were my official booking. This pair are one of the loveliest couple you could ever meet. We had a little walk round the golf course and sat down with a cuppa for a chat... This was all back in 2018!!!

So when 2020 finally rolled round, I was so excited as they were going to be my first wedding of the year, the first wedding of the decade (I also had my new shiny camera and their wedding was the first time I was going to use it... a lot of firsts for this lovely couple!)

On the day of the wedding, 22.02.2020, I met Charlotte and her beautiful squad in the morning at Ecton House in Northampton. I have never been there before, but oh my, what a beautiful place to get ready. There was lots of fun and laughter throughout the morning but one of my favourite moments was when the father of the groom walked in to see his beautiful girl. I don't think there was a dry eye in the room (including mine).

When everyone stopped being so teary eyed, it was time for Charlotte to go and get married. The  bride and groom had hired an amazing camper van for the day, this took Charlotte and her father to Brampton Heath Golf Club. This camper van was made even more special for Charlotte, if you watch the slideshow, you might be able to see why!

The rest of the day at unfolded in front of me is definitely one I will never forget. So much love filled the golf course that day, it was incredible to watch and capture.
